A Seoul-fully Delighted Meal – Seoul Garden HotPot
Seoul Garden HotPot Introduction
If you’re a Korean foodie, you know that there’s more to Korean cuisine than just KIMCHI. With more choices of delectable items that are not only easy on the pocket, they’re also a sure way to fill your hungry tummies! From the casual and chatty atmosphere, friendly staff and great tasting food, Seoul Garden HotPot is the perfect place for you.
Some of you might have been aware that there are two types of Seoul Garden in our country; Seoul Garden (offers steamboat buffet only) and Seoul Garden Hotpot (offer ala carte food only).
*Seoul Garden Hotpot offers an array of authentic Korean dishes like Bibim Baps, HotPot, Jjigae Sets and many more.
Mouth-Watering Squid Hot Plate
As a first-timer in Seoul Garden Hotpot, we highly recommend “Squid Hot Plate” RM17.90 which also successfully attract us into their restaurant after seeing other customers enjoying it.
This hot plate has a tempting appearance (big fat squid) that keeps us drolling upon serving, has an aromatic burnt shiitake mushroom & soy sauce scent, tastes just like having our local “Sotong Masak Kicap”, and goes especially well with rice! 😉
*For those who had an allergy to seafood, Seoul Garden also offers two other different flavors in the menu – marinated sliced beef and marinated sliced chicken.
Signature Seafood Kimchi Hotpot
If you are big-time fans on Korean food, then you wouldn’t want to miss their Seafood Kimchi Hotpot RM21.90 featuring fresh seafood cooked in spicy kimchi jjigae broth.
The soup was thick (enrich with all sorts of seafood), tastes sweet and less spicy, there are also a good amount of prawns and clam inside the hotpot which considered quite a feast for us. We generally have two bowls for each person before we manage to finish it.
*Not fancy spicy? Then you can choose the miso flavor (applies to all) which is equally good and other soup option such as; braised beef, marinated beef, chicken, mandu or dubu jiigae.
Hot & Spicy Drumettes
Not sure if anyone could hit a pass when fried chicken drumettes were actually waving in the menu, thus, an additional Hot Spicy Drumettes RM13.90 just to fire up our meal!
If you have been to any Korean Fried Chicken Specialty Shop such as Kyochon1991, you will find it hard to accept Seoul Garden fried chicken anymore due to its non-specialty (simply fried then dip into any premade go chu chang sauce which sells in the supermarket), unless you just want to have some common Korean fried chicken then this might be just for you.
*Other than Spicy Drumettes, Seoul Garden also serves other Korean snacks such as; deep-fried mandu, teokbokki, deep-fried yuba, deep-fried salmon belly, seafood pancake and many more.
*Kindly note that menu availability and price might vary from time to time
