Grilled Hot Pot & Special Flavoured Powder @ God’s Delicious Pot, 神来一锅
Do you ever have the bad habit of licking off the “Keropok Powder” from your fingers upon finishing a packet of chips?
The God’s Delicious Food Restaurant is popular with serving personal Taiwan steamboat while adding a small twist to enhance the flavour of food – unlimited supply of various “Keropok Powder “ to sprinkle on top of your food.

Other than Roasted Pot (大烤神锅), God’s Delicious Pot also serves other pots; Selected Delicious Pot (饱足锅) – one soup base steamboat and Twin Soup Delicious Pot (鸳鸯双汤锅) – double soup base steamboat.
*Personally doesn’t feel like a single person portion (very less ingredient) will fulfil individual cravings, you will definitely end up ordering more ala carte which is considered non-cost effective.
God’s Pot Cooking Session
If you are the first time dining at God’s Delicious Restaurant, a personal chef will be assigned to your table to guide as the best way to cook and prepare foods especially on which flavouring powder serves the best in each respective food category (exactly like how those sales ladies treat us at Shopping Mall makeup section except powder it’s on the face!)
God’s Delicious Restaurant secret weapon ” The Keropok Powder” is consists of a variety of flavours – Kimchi, Curry, Wasabi, Cumin, Cheese, Mala, Mexico, Thai, Seaweed, and Rock Salt. Don’t worry, there is an animal label on each spice which indicates the best flavouring for that particular meat for those who are curious.
If you are adventurous enough, do try mix and match everything to find out what suits you the most.
Snacks & Side Dish Moment
It will be quite some time for the cooking session to be ready so it would be wise if you order a few selection of snacks to chow on! God’s Delicious Pot also offers a few selection of Taiwan Signature Dish which is worth to give it a try all at an only RM7.80 flat rate.
Braised Pork Rice (卤肉饭) – Good Ol Taiwan Braised Pork Rice with steam rice as the core while minced pork as toppings, taste delicious but slightly small portion.
Century Egg Tofu (皮蛋豆腐) – A tofu and century egg combination served with oyster sauce, nothing much to shout about but taste solid.
Secret Recipe Sausage (秘制香肠) – Recommend dish, this one has a robust pork flavour to it and tastes like 鲜润肠 “The Premium Chinese New Year Pork Sausage”.
Hakka Salty Pork (客家咸猪肉) – Salty pork slices tastes briny have a much mild smoky flavour compared with bacon, another recommended dish (if you love the porky flavour).
Depends on personal taste buds, I would say it is more worthy to add-on a plate of meat (same price) instead of a side dish for value wise.
God’s Pot Tasting Session
The main course is finally well prepared at the moment we finished the side dish. The taste of food is normal like what we had in normal steamboat unless you apply more “Keropok Powder” to change its characteristics. eg; grilled fish fillets become cheestix fish fillet, grilled lamb slice becomes kimchi lamb and much more, overall taste unexpectedly palatable.
The meatball trio (Onion, Mushroom, Pork) was the best among all sorts of food with “Homemade Mushroom Meatball” as the most brilliant one to taste with.
Extra God’s Delicious Pot Meal
Since we ordered Taiwan Pan Mee so everything need to clear up before we able to prepare the stomach filler. The Taiwan Pan Mee is meant to be boiled in the soup broth for few minutes before transferring to the grill pan side, then add a few dashes of “Cumin Keropok Powder” as the flavouring and voila. Noodles taste chewy with mild cumin flavour in it.
A complimentary homemade dessert which consists of three types of flavour; Honeydew, Strawberry and Toffee (one of them) will be served during checkout. These chilled egg custard are best to serve with evaporated milk for the full savoury.
The overall dining experience in God’s Delicious Pot is satisfying yet only recommend for once in a blue moon occasions (heavy amount of msg and not worth the penny spent).
