Japanese All-You-Can-Eat Steamboat @ Suki-Ya Shabu-Shabu
The conceptualization of Suki-Ya was born from the combination of specialized shops in Japan serving hot pot, shabu-shabu and sukiyaki. In order to adapt and share the exclusive dining experience, the chain restaurant gathered technology and expertise from Japan and fuse them together.
Suki-Ya main ideology is to share a modern healthy lifestyle eatery where people can get together to experience healthy, low-fat food in a warm atmosphere.
Suki-ya runs A Japanese buffet style steamboat, diners are required to attend to the healthy bar to pick from various types of vegetables, seafood and mushroom to dine with the meat slices.
Heathy Bars serve – Lettuce, Crab Stick, Enoki Mushroom, Sausage, Fried Tofu, Bok Choi, Meat Ball, Oyster Mushroom, Fish Cake, Lobster Ball, Corn, Egg Tofu, Radish, Pumpkin, Spinach, Udon, Glass Noodle, Clam and Scallop.
Recommend to take a few corns, daikon radish and spring onion on first round just to build up the soup base and avoid to pick the processed food until the final round in order to preserve the soup taste during the meal.
Snacks & Condiments Section
The bar also offers a variety of sushi snacks for diners to dig in while waiting for the soup to ready. Sauce combination guide is attached to the instruction paper at the dining table to produce a perfect dipping sauce.
Raw Premium Pasteurized Egg Dippings is the most popular condiment mix in Suki-Ya.
Meat Slice Section
Suki-Ya offers 4 choices of popular soup bases to further entice the diner’s palate with the free flow of freshly sliced meat ranging from Chicken, Beef and Lamb.
Sukiya Soup Base Choices :
- Shabu-Shabu – Low calories and light on the palate, wafer thin slices of meat dipped into simmering konbu broth and cooked for a few seconds is popular in shabu-shabu.
- Sukiyaki – Cooked in a sweetened soy-sauce broth, sukiyaki is a favourite of both young and old.
- Miso Soup – Miso is made from fermented soybeans, full of antioxidants like vitamin E, as well as protective fatty acids.
- Kimuchi – A mildly spicy soup made with authentic Kimchi base, spicy Miso and various vegetable base. Enjoy it with spicy Miso sauce, hot pepper or garlic.
Fans of sukiyaki will certainly love the paper-thin sliced meat cuts which taste heavenly with the premium egg dippings.
Dessert & Beverage Section
Diners may enjoy dulcet of Green Tea, Vanilla or Chocolate Soft Ice Cream during buffet session. A free flow of hot or cold green tea are available throughout the meal, just need to ask the waiter around for a refill. Suki-Ya also has an a-la-carte menu with choices ranging from tofu to the ever popular salmon sashimi.
