The Origin of Topokki goes back to 1950s when it was first introduced to masses. This chewy rice cakes drenched with spicy red chilli sauce derives from the royal household and it was a part of school lunches among students bringing back nostalgic memories.
With an adaptable approach to the physical layout of a subway station in Seoul, MyeongDong Topokki was established in 2014, bringing together various Korean street food and a variety of Korean delicacies under one roof.
